Seattle's vast collection of art galleries are involved in the 'First Thursday' gallery walk, where hours are extended and admission is waived. Featuring a wide range of art styles and mediums, many of the works displayed are by contemporary local artists from the Seattle area and internationally renowned artists. There are also displays of historical photography and an impressive selection of glass arts.
